hi ian i think you will be rite i have been looking online and i work with a bloke that lives out that way and it seams they havent been getting the rain up there that we have been getting down here in gatton.
No, we have not been getting much rain at all.
We had a good shower last night but that's the first rain we've had.
It's still very, very firm under foot.

If it does pour down and anyone needs undercover storage in Warwick (about 25kms away) I should be able to arrange something.

Cheers then
Scott

Been watching the radar and Allora / Warwick does not seem to be getting much rain, only the odd scud by the look of it. Its been pouring here in Bundy all the gutters are running bankers.

Drove to Allora today and it looks good, ready to go.
Staying in a motel in Warwick and weather is cloudy but dry.
See you all at the rally.

At least they're not swamp sites.

For those staying in Warwick may I suggest the RSL for Friday night tea. A smorgasbord well worth the $14 or so.

Cheers Scott.

Oh dear. It's turning into a swamp site at Allora.
The rain hasn't stopped and things are getting very muddy indeed.

I went and had a look early this morning and it wasn't too bad but then the rain started.
I headed back to Warwick to pick up a couple of Southern Cross's to take back but everything got bogged trying to get the engines out.

Oh well.

Cheers Scott :(

Hi Scott,
We came up from Jimboomba way early this morning. Check radar around 5.00am and it looked like would be ok as gamble but surrounded on both sides. Decided to come up and drive with potential weather. It certainly got wet. We stuck it out till 3.30 and headed back. At top of range it really hammered home. The positive benefit we got apart from free bath was to get a few items at muddy swap/swamp tents.
I feel for the club as I always rate the Allora Rally as one of the pick events because it is central for a lot and draws many items and support from down south and west which you normally don't get.
After the Floods last year this is the last thing the club and local community needed was a semi repeat performance. Ted Woodroe and Club to be commended for pushing on in true spirit and making the most. It was good to see so many faces supporting local community  in what was difficult conditions.
