Hi from a rainy and cold New Zealand
« on: 07 August, 2010, 02:45:53 pm »
I am a collector of treadle machines and have a forum and manufacturing list site for treadle machines.
Steam will always be an i would like to have, but like my treadle machine more.
Any way a shoulder injury has put an end to heavy lifting, and steam things are always heavy work.
That is why i started the forum and the manufactures list, to much time on my hands and, the accident was 1 1/2 years ago, not allowed to work.
Love all those big traction engines, i was fortunate to drive one of those once and loved it.
The only thing i did not think about at that time that is having a white striped pole shirt is not a good idea to wear, but who cares the smile is more important.
Have a look at my post in traction engines about 1880 catalogues.
Bernhard.
