It is from a well know company that make other products but never knew that that also made some trucks/tractors

Hi Ian  i will have a guess either Ruston Proctor or Petter ,but i am leaning towards Petter .

This was made by Broom & Wade. I found this when trying to more about my Broom & Wade compressor 
Go here and down load the book for other trucks they made (free)

Ian,
We have this old Broom & Wade compressor. Perhaps it's a bit like yours. It was going to be scrapped but we have decided to save it.
