Kingaroy Rally 2014
« on: 13 September, 2014, 06:30:31 pm »
Hi All,
Well we are a week away from our annual rally at Kingaroy, The Club members have been working hard to make our club grounds better by adding permanent  Male and Female Toilet blocks in the campground for the comfort of or exhibitors !!

I'm sure anyone who attended last year will see the improvements on what started as a bare block several years ago,Our big storage shed is under construction and will house all the donated Peanut and Corn Threshers as well as other unique pieces of local farming when it is complete.

So who is coming along this year ??? The Feature is John Deere , Chevrolet Trucks, Oddball Engines (rare ,weird or different)
of course anything else is welcome too!! Checkout the TOMM Magazine or the Club Website-Kingaroy and District Vintage Machinery Club @ weebly

Hope to see some new faces - Cheers Justin

Yip, too right. It's one of our annual pilgrimages.
See you there Justin, I'm bringing Arnold, the little pig engine.

Hello Justin

All my less common engines don’t run. Come to think of it not many off my run.

I might have to borrow one of the old man’s engines

What are thinking of bringing ?

Bear, you are just too big to bear. I couldn't carry you and would hate to see others try! So just have to hope the knee settles down.. hope you can still make it.

We could always cart you around in Racks Lister Dumpy ??? (very smooth ride-not!!!) Im prescribing two asprin, two teaspoons of cement powder in a cup of tea during the day and a metered dose of the square bottle during the evening that should sort that knee business out........ :-)
Hope you can make it LIMPY BEAR

Im sure the old man has a engine for you to use ..... again!! Ill Bring the 4hp Samson, the 4hp Famous, the 5hp EMU and the 6hp Dial (Galloway)as well as the Wife's John Deere A tractor and maybe the Allis B ? ,The Old Boy is talking about driving the CASE Traction engine out on Friday, that usually holds up the traffic on a friday arvo at school time !!! and is generally a very entertaining event all round ,I may even help him if he's good.
Hope to see you there ,Cheers Justin

Well, it has come and gone again.
Congratulations to the Kingaroy team for putting on a great rally yet again.
We've been enjoying this rally for quite a few years and can see it is going to grow even bigger.

Good show team!
