Harry Ferguson Hay Cutter
« on: 22 January, 2015, 05:21:54 pm »
Well this followed us home last weekend. Looks the part and is seized solid but time will tell to what level of fixing up it goes to. I would be interested in hearing from anyone as to where or who has the missing teeth and bolts from the cutter bar. There is a tag on it but I have not tried to clean it up as yet. Between heavy storms and showers lately and having to get work done the toys have to wait.
Cheers, John & Dee. Coopernook. NSW.

Hello Cobba.
You'll have to get a Harry soon by the looks of things.

The guards and sections as well as the bolts etc are all available from most tractor places.
Just find a Massey Ferguson or AGCO dealer if the local bloke is unhelpful.

Cheers then
Scott

Cobby,
I have a Fergie hay cutter and I still use it on the hobby farm almost every year.
Most parts are readily available still.

Yes Scott we do have a 'Harry" so speak, well its one of Harry's relatives. Dee bought HER. Her name is HRH Sarah Fergusson. Need to do a little bit of work on her but I am not allowed as Dee is insisting on wanting to do the work herself but under supervision. I said I will look around for someone qualified. I thought I posted a couple of pics a while back but maybe I didn't.
