Gold Mine Stationary Engine

This is a 4 cylinder Diesel engine sat at Mount Magnet ,WA .It was to run the mill for a Old Gold Mine just north of town sat abandoned on Mine site Land.

Thanks for the photos.

I am going to take a guess and say the three cylinder (top photo) is a Ruston and the four cylinder might be a Ruston too...

I might be wrong, happy to be corrected.

The last photo looks to have a makers name visible on the side?

In a past post you said that this forum is hard and slow for pictures and now no pictures
The pictures are there, so is there something wrong your end
A member on here some time back had the same issue cant see pictures I don't remember who or how it was fixed
But ended up being something his end

Strange one Ian ,both browsers work for images on other forums ....just this one does not show image ....I'll have to get an 11 year old school boy !
I wonder if I can send an image ,I'll try ............

Now it works , magic ........your probably right re it being a Ruston , they were pretty common around the goldfiels . Somewher I have a picture of a Blackstone .Again in the goldfields .see if I can find it .It looks a bit like that engine.

          Both engines look typically Ruston, the 4 cyl possibly a 4VPH. Not sure of the 3 cyl, perhaps a larger series. Oil primer pump and inspection covers look Ruston style. Sad to see them derelict.

These damn putas can drive you crazy at times with loading pics or not and all sorts of other issues. At least this new puta does what it is told,,,,,so far...............
I wonder how this topic ended up in the Models section! Maybe another glitch.
