Hi I have this transfer pump and it is missing a bit. the gap in the ngk bpr 6hs plug is 10 thou ,is this correct? Cheers Rudy

Sounds way too small for me for a spark plug gap.

Hi John have set the gap to 28 thou and stripped the carby and cleaned it all out including the filters. Now runs much better. Cheers Rudy

10thou, possibly misread as 1.0 (mm) But that's around 40 thou by memory so getting pretty big for a gap?

Only late model cars run a 1mm gap or bigger with those very high powered coils they use. I would have started at 0.025" and gone up from there.
