The Robinson brothers have been having part sales for a years and usually for a good price
It will interesting to see what the prices will be like now that they are parting with lot
I think also if everything is sold the market will flooded for a while

A few prices from the auction at Bookham on Saturday. Add the 11% buyers premium to the hammer price. I did not get the prices on everything and some of the ones I have may be incorrect as it was fun chasing the auctioneer and crowd up, down and across the terrain.

Hi Jim,
I don't remember seeing a F&J one but there were a number of Rosebery built ones lying around.

Yes, thanks again for the figures, Patrick. Very informative. Shall be interesting to see how the next one goes. Looks like I won't be getting an old engine any time soon, at those prices.
Andrew.

Hi

went down today to pick up an engine bought last Saturday and got talking with the vendor. The Hornsby Ackroyd girder engine is still for sale at a price somewhat above the landing price at the auction but less than other girders have fetched in the past - 25K

Give them a ring if interested.

BTW - I have no vested interest in passing this info on.
