hi All we have nearly completed our robson engine looking for anyone that may have any info on these engines we believe its early 1900 and may be 8 hp if anyone can help us out look forward to it we do need a governor ball she looks a bit sad with only 1

Hi,
I had a later model robson engine and ended up selling it to fund some other projects.The govenor balls were broken and I ended up using a pair of 50 mm tow balls and machining the threaded section flat to fit into the pivot points.Being steel,you could easily modify with a welder and machine to suit.I dont know if I still have the old cast ball or it went to the new owner.Will have a look.

cheers thanks for that info would be great to find another cast ball to match
what hp was yours and year was yours havnt heard of too many around it would be good to get a register started cheers debron
