Title: Old Machinery Around the World
Post by: Triumphline on 11 January, 2009, 09:22:04 pm
Well I am back after a 5 week whirlwind trip around the world. I did not have much time to see old machinery but I did fit a couple of things in (thanks to many suggestions). The Science Museum in London is great, a very impressive collection; The National Rail Museum in York is a must see as they have must have the finest collection of Steam Locomotives, and pretty much anything to with rail transport, in the world; San Francisco is great fun with the Cable Cars, and and excellent Maritime Museum with some impressive steam, internal combustion, & sail boats.
I took around 2700 pictures and I will post some appropriate old machinery ones on my site once I sort them out.
