G'day ALL- BOOLEROO STEAM AND TRACTION PRESERVATION SOCIETY----- held their 49th RALLY at BOOLEROO CENTRE SA this weekend just passed. This is the biggest collection of steam exhibits here in SA. We did not get the steam units in SA ----as in eastern states--- as there was not very much timber here- as was needed to fire these units, but even so-------- our founding member---Brian Kanarhause did his best to save and to RESTORE these units-. In recognition of this our club has named the big TRACTOR SHED - 'THE BRIAN KANARHAUSE TRACTOR SHED "
.Even though the weekend was so-- so --hot we receive a good crowd and we put on the best demonstration as we could have. EXEMPTION PERTMITS were made available to us --- to use the fire powered units------- but we shut down our second STEAM WORKING DISLAY because of rising winds.
Next year is our 50th Rally - not many other clubs is Ausiland can claim this (Except those that have rallies more than once a year) We plan to make this one of our BIGGEST AND BEST --------PLEASE COME AND ENJOY OUR HOSPITALITY ---ENOY OUR RALLY ---SWAPMEET OF TRACTOR AND ENGINE ORINATED ITEMS BEFORE THE RALLY ------------LOTS MORE DETAILS TO OFFER YOU---
