Does anyone know what the aproximate value of a 1965 hillman imp in need of restoration would be worth,
Car has rust in rear quarters and bonnet , engine running, no brakes.

Best thing to do is compare it to another one for sale. If yours is a lesser condition then you can expect a lesser price. Other thing is to ask a price that is fair to you in your mind considering condition. Popularity of vehicles also needs to be considered in valuation. It's always a hard thing to value something as it may insult the owner or a buyer with the price. Take an offer that you are happy with to see it go.

G-day Adtrac. Recently I saw a Green HILLMAN IMP for sale at ELIZABETH NORTH - A SUBURB OF ADELAIDE - asking price was $14,000- I checked this unit out - it was pretty damn good. . Anyway after expressing my interest- I contacted the seller 2 days later to only find out that he had sold it for that amount receiving cash for the sale. I am only saying this as that was my personal experience as related.
I have my mothers Hillman IMP in my shed- it is in almost perfect condition- White in colour- I do not want to sell it- have all books , service manuals and records relating to mums ownership. Others put these units down but they are ACTUALLY - mighty units.
Regards Shubystractorfarm. Good luck.
