Title: The Bartram that never was.
Post by: Eric Schulz on 18 June, 2019, 06:36:33 pm
Well, I do not think it ever existed, even if this illustration is from a Bartram catalogue. It is an AK with a totally different crankcase.

Hi Eric,
Is this engine similar or a totally different model?
Sorry - don't know where I got this from.

Tim, the two engines are quite different. That twin cylinder one you showed is a speeded up and pressure lubricated version of a Bartram LL, which is a twin cylinder version of a Bartram BW.

The one I posted is based on a Bartram AK, single cylinder.
