Exporting Engines Between Countries
« on: 05 January, 2011, 06:32:37 pm »
Hi Everyone.  There is a stationary engine in the UK I would like to purchase.  Trouble of course is how to have it shipped.  I contacted some companies that export cars but they weren't interested.  I would really like to hear from anyone that has ever taken their engine overseas for a rally so I can see how it gets done.
Thanks
Richard

The best way might be to find someone here in Australia the imports machinery from the UK and maybe they can fit in their next load

G'day Richard,
I imported an engine from the states about three years ago and found it fairly easy as long as the person selling is willing to help at their end.If you pm me your phone number i will be sure to give you a ring and help how i can.
Cheers,
Brad.

 Hi Ron,
Speaking of jet engines, how about posting a decent picture of the blitz so we can get a look at it. (I didn't refer to it as "her" as a truck with that many balls can't be female.)
