A steam driven dam excavator, is this a one of or are there others out there I have never sen one before

Ian,
    That machine must have really been something too see in its day.
I am always very impressed with the Daimler? trailers at Ilfricombe each trailer had 4wd and steering if my memory serves me right. They would be a good subject for a model.
Would you have a pic of them?

    There is a town called Ilfracombe that has 1 mile of vintage machinery on the side of the road in a park. Ilfracombe is 26k approx on the eastern side of Longreach QLD.
Well worth a look on the way to the stockmans hall of fame and there is a great powerhouse museum at longreach as well.
