sorry i cant help with a workshop manual, though i think i do remember see them for sale at swapmeets. there is a guy who specialises in workshop manuals, i think he is from northern nsw and he travells around to swap meets. pretty sure thats where i seen it.

i used to drive one of those old toyota trucks in the early `90s . when i worked for Integral Energy in central NSW we had one with a pole jinker on it that we used for carrying the power poles from the depot out to location. it was an easy old thing to drive except for the fumes from all the oil leaks on the engine and it was very noisy.
thats what i got my truck licence in .

i have spotted a few of the old bonneted toyotas since moving to central qld. they must have been more popular around here then they were in central nsw.
there is one sitting next to a shed on a farm in the baffle creek area that i dont think is used anymore. from the road it dosnt look to have moved since i came here 6 years ago.  still see a few on the road as farm trucks. spotted a few of them up around Tully last year when we were up there cleaning up last year after cyclone yasi .

Dave, yes they were very popular in this CQ Area alot of SWB tipper models used on the council for gravel and by farmers to cart grain.2ND in number only to cab over Bedfords. I even went and looked at a bogie drive D6000 at an auction at Baralaba a couple of weeks ago. It had been fitted from new with a hendrickson and 3 speed joey box for a council down south originally. My dad ran them for carting cream, Petrol version only because of the time spent idling while loading and unloading and the short runs between farms.

I would be interested in seeing this one at Baffle creek as I am only a couple of hours away at Goovigen. If you could point me in that direction that would be great.
Cheers Dale.

if that link works, there should be a google shot of the area, the red pointer is approx where the truck is. you can see it from the road. it is on the dirt section of "cross road, baffle creek" . i dont know who owns it but one of the near by houses might know a contact. not sure when i will be back down that way.
