You have most lily found this as below it looks like a  'tangye colonial steam engine'

Should of look a bit harder it is not the same a the Tangye I put up

HERE IS A COMPLETE ENGINE THAT IS THE SAME AS THE INFORMATION I AM AFTER THE PERSON WHO SUPPLIED THIS PICTURE BELIEVES THAT THEY ARE A COPY OF A TANGY HAS ANY ONE GOT ANY IDEA'S

Are there any casting marks or part numbers on any of the pieces?  These can sometimes assist with identification.
Collector and fan of ye olde crappe. I collect old number plates.  Have you got any?  Send me a PM if you do.  :-)  I might even trade them for other old junk.

No i have been right over the engine no marking names or anything not even a serial number on the con rod bearings

Hi Clappo ,the engine looks very similar to a Lowther and Jarvis that our club has just restored. cheers Rudy

do you have a picture? also has it got 12 or 8 bolts holding on the side cover on  ours has 12 cheers clappo
