The above ' subject 'Green Cooper / Stover Circulation Pump spins only in a CW direction , same as Engine Direction . CW from belt drive End . So this Pump can only be mounted in its Original Rear Transport Mounting Holes adjacent to Cooling Tank .

Asking so kindly , what position does the Large Brass Nut ' Centre ' need to be in . ? Just firm against the Flat Belt Sheave or Backed away . Or up against the Locking Clamp , to the right . ?

The Brass Nut does not Rotate when Pump is activated .
The Flat Belt Sheave , has a Keeper Screw as shown , to prevent it from drifting and spinning on its own accord .
Could the Brass Nut be just up near The Flat Belt Sheave as a Safety with a minimal Gap ..

Ok , I have been informed of the Works of The Brass Nut ,
Wind back the Brass Nut as Far as it will go ,to reveal inner shaft , obtain Hessian String , Feed the String turning the shaft as ' you ' go onto the shaft with grease , when the desired amount of String Packing is reached , Close the Brass Nut , to compress the Matrix . Up against the Flat Belt Sheave . I suppose it is called a Gland Nut .

Yep a gland nut is what it is. As for the position of the flat belt pulley you can position it anywhere it suits you to enable it to align with the drive pulley. As you already are aware, it must be clear of other none moving parts.

Thank you for this information .  Slowly getting there  . Atleast so far the pump is attached ehere it should be . Tank is a too wide , although i am not changing it . Narower Tank or Circular i reckon . Which then would provide room too move it closer to enable Flat Belt to be used
