Stuart Turner P5ME restoration
« on: 10 January, 2019, 08:09:51 am »
P5 ME restoration complete after 18 months of work. Well worth the effort. The engine is up and running and I am very pleased with the result. A control panel has been fitted and a 36V dynamo is coupled to the engine to give it something to do.

Hello all
Yep, that's impressive. Very nice indeed. A great attention to detail has been given and the results are astounding.....
I'd love to see a video of it one day. Better still, I'd love to see this engine one day.

Cheers Scott

An admirable restauration ! Looks brand new.

I have P5M from 1937 plan an overhaul but do not have any experience with overhauling An old ST and have no connection to someone who has fone it before.

I would tremendously appreciate if you would be prepared to share your experience. Since i am slightly concerned that I will make all the beginnings mistakes.

Looking forward to hear from you.
