Metters spray pumps
« on: 25 April, 2019, 10:34:24 am »
Both these spray pumps are from the same 1927 catalogue. The coloured one is from the cover and shows a Nufrend engine, which isn?t in colour. It looks older than the other one, as it has a wooden frame. The others inside are all McCormick-Deering powered. This would suggest that the Nufrend was already out of production or being phased out.

The vertical Frisco copy was the first Metters engine, going back to at least 1912. The Nufrend, a copy of the Friend, came later, but I don?t have a date. There was also a 2 stroke, but nobody knows anything about it.
