Has anybody get these emails ?
I have not used photobucklet since they started charging and deleted pictures that have been posted if you did not pay I did not pay and lost a number of pictures posted using photobucket
What does this mean now that they are going to delete pictures that I posted from my computer to a forum site of Facebook  even though I have not used photbucket

Looks like a scam to me. I would just ignore it.

I was thinking the same thing. It looks like either a 'genuine' scam by photobucket trying to get money out of you or a scam from another party.

Look at the email address that has sent it to you. I think that you will find it is not from photo bucket. If the suspicions are correct then send the email to photo bucket advising them of the problem so they can follow it up.

I would search for another "contact us" link on their site and ask if it is a scam or not. I would not use the link until it was confirmed.

It sounds like photobucket is trying to extort money from their users.

The Photobucket message is written in 'half-pidgin' English. Methinks a scam, most certainly.

After reading this post it prompted me to re-read the original photobucket message. The grammer and spelling is spot on. There is nothing "pidgin" about it.
So, then I read the additional stuff that rustyengines posted and it too is perfect.

This, combined with the legitimate/correct email link, indicates it is not a scam and is indeed a legitimate Photobucket email requesting you to spend money with them.

My take on the thing is that Photobucket, a couple of years back and for one reason or another, became money hungry and even now are still after every red cent they can lay their greedy little mits on. You'll get more of these messages, but If you don't want to receive any more of them, then just "unsubscribe". Close your account first though.

Cheers,
Rob

This may help you to understand what's going on and why folks are receiving these aggressive messages.
