That's a big start Ian. Good on you.  Going by the fence, you definitely cornered the market for product from the Rainbow Paint Company.

Cheers,
Steve.

Hi Steve,
Yes the fence of many colours, that's how we found it.  Only been in the place less than two  months.  I have demolished an old lean to from the back fence, knocked down an old brick bbq and pulled up several Ute  loads of old pavers and concrete. I got the planes  into Council as soon as we  put a contract on  the place. Not sure when the shed will be erected, the slab will need to cure for a week at least.
Cheers

I remember when I was growing up with Ma n Pa, he decided to put together a new side fence. So he made some moulds and poured his own concrete posts and then he bought home some roofing panels but they was a huge mix of colours amongst it all. So we too had "Josephs Fence of many Colours". It stayed that way for quite a few years then out came the old Vactrix spray gun and it was converted then being drab olive green, probably another special of the week somewhere.
I actually have the Vactrix spray gun here now and find it hard to get rid of it.

Ian, I just noticed that you ordered the shed the day you signed the contract to buy.  Back in 2003, the day we paid the holding deposit on this place, on our way back to Sydney, we called in to the local shed builder and ordered an 18.5 x 12.5 American Barn with a mezzanine floor above the centre section.

By the time we got back home I had convinced myself that no-one needs a shed that big, so had them remove one 3.5m bay. Moved in, slab poured and shed erected. Put all the crap in. Bloody shed too small, so I added a 3.5 x 9m annex. Still too small so put up a 12 x 6m carport down the back to take the overflow.  It's now time to thin out the collection so I have room to move.

Enjoy it when it gets finished. Sometimes I wish I had a town block to force me to be more selective in what I keep.
Cheers, Steve.

PS. Remember, you can't have too many power point in the new shed.

Yes, plenty of poer points, lights and compressed air outlets. I plumbed up our sheds from one end to the other using high pressure PVC water pipe. There ar T sections that have the correct thread to screw in you air connectors as well. A hot air gun can warm the pipe to make some slight bendsand it was not an expensive exercise to do, well worht the couple of hours of blue glueing the stuff together.

Hi

Shed almost complete, electricians coming tomorrow to wire it up, next job will be the down pipes and storm water drains.  I will then clean and seal the floor.  Sorry for the delay I had the man flu last week so things did not get posted.

Cheers
