Received this email generator not Southern Cross can anybody help and answerer to the email address
I am in South Africa. I recovered a generator form local scrap dealer.
See attached photos of generator.
Based on the remaining paint and Ampmeter coming from Sydney I suspect it may be a Southern Cross unit or have links to Southern Cross.
I would like to get the generator operational for show purposes, but there is no nameplate to indicate voltage or speed.
Please help with any information you or other members may have.
Thank You & Regards,
Gerrie de Jong

Just guessing but it looks a bit like a DAVEY generator and is probably 32v.

Plus the regulator ALMOST looks like early Holden but with one coil only instead of two.
