Watts Bros engine
« on: 01 January, 2009, 04:06:24 pm »
G'day All
I have had this Watts Bros oil engine for a few years now and would like to get it going this year so am hoping some people from the forum may beable to help me out.
I am seeking info about these engines and measurements so i can make a piston and conrod for my engine as they are the only vital missing parts on my engine.
My engine is believed to be about 3 h.p and i have come across one that is about 4 to 5 h.p. but all the others are of the same size as mine. Of the handful of these engines that i have located only 3 are petrol engines and the rest are oil engines and of all the engine mine is the oldest known yet and none of the owners have much info either.
So if anyone on the forum can help me out it would be much appreciated.
   cheers
