Time to blow off the dust
« on: 26 June, 2021, 05:44:28 pm »
Firstly, thanks for the Add to this Forum.
Around 1970 I bought, restored, then later sold, an International Harvester 1 1/2 HP horizontal.
About 30+ years ago I bought a "restored" Sunshine, type C, 3HP, 2-stroke.
I used to run it regularly as I am interested in old engines and cars.
(Strangely enough I still have my first car...it is now 92 years old.. a 1929 DeSoto Tourer)
I reckon the Sunshine has been sitting unsued at the back of my factory for the last 20 years.
Now that I supposedly have a bit more free time?? I need to get it running again.
I am sure things will be a bit gummed up and gaskets etc maybe "suss".
Anyway I will have a fiddle with it in the next few months and see how I go.
Cheers Bob.
