Hi our club has recieved a lister J with the serial number 4220 could somebody please give me a date for this engine please. We may need a puston and conrod if anybody has one available.  Thanks Rudy

Okay we definitely need a piston and conrod for the lister j at the club it is a 1912 model. Any help would be appreciated regards Rudy

There is a supplier of Lister parts on the New England Talelands in NSW. Tamworth / Armidale area. Name escapes me now.

When stuck between a rock and a hard place this might be an option. Is UK based, but there are the occasional Aussie there along with Kiwis. You never know unless you ask.

Have this one in Victoria,missing a piece between ring gland but should still work ok
collector and restorer of stationary engines located in Hamilton Victoria

That missing piece should be able to be repaired and machined if it is that importnt.

Hi all the piston that is shown has a flat top , I believe that the piston from the engine should have a domed top as it is a 1912 model. ( we are still trying to remove what's left of the piston) . My question is will it make a difference to use a flat topped piston. Regards Rudy

Hi the piston from Peter is from a Lister L and wont work as it is too big. Back to square one. Thanks Rudy
