Hi I was wondering if anyone can throw some light onto the engine that I have.  I believe it is a J type, but I can not find one the same as mine in all of my searching.  I am new to this game and not sure if I am looking in the right places for info, so any help in regard to this would be greatly appreciated

I am no expert on Listers but I would think that the hopper cooled J would be one of the more unusual and rare examples. I have only come across a couple of them over the years.
Here is a picture of an example in the UK.
